Band of the Week: Boston Manor

(i was meant to post this on Saturday I'm very sorry) So on Saturday, me and a few friends went to Kingston for the first date of the This Wild Life and As It Is tour with Seaway and Boston Manor.
Before the gig, I had never listened to them properly, I only knew their song Peach State, and the other bands I love a lot. They were the first to perform and in all honesty I was in love.
The band had great stage presence and the lead singer Dan's voice is really unique.
They are the perfect pop punk band and great if you're fans of : knuckle puck, real friend and seaway!
They have only released EPs so far, their latest Driftwood and the past Here/Now.

Top 3 Songs:
Peach State
Driftwood
See You in Three Years

Rock Sound 'Worship and Tributes' 200th Issue Album Review

Recently, Rock Sound released their 200th issue of their amazing magazine for June 2015! It has been a long journey, and along with the magazine was the FREE album 'Worship and Tributes' which displayed rocks most loved bands covering classic rock tracks.

The choice of bands were great and varied from the likes of pop punk kings Neck Deep, punk rockers You Me At Six and the heavier Architects.

My personal favourites on the album are As It Is's cover of the 'Only Exception' by Paramore, We are the Ocean's cover of 'The Pretender' by Foo Fighters and Enter Shikari's cover of 'Chop Suey!' originally by System of the Down.

Not to mention the great magazine that comes with it! It outlines the top 200 moments in rock music; album releases, band splits, festivals, concerts and events that defined rock history!

My Necklace Obsession

I have quite a few obsessions, like things I can easily spend all of my money on. Like CDs, socks, candles and NECKLACES. It's not very healthy.
I  just think they finish anything you're wearing. I am always attracted to pretty pendants, especially crystals. Anything with a crystal is coming home with me. I also love chokers in the same form, and I am a fan of the vintage tattoo chokers that 'everyone' wears.
If you're wondering, I buy most of my jewellry in general from Topshop, Claire's and Ebay, although in any shop I will buy something if I love it. Below are some of my favourite necklaces/chokers.
 Tattoo Choker- eBay
Star choker- hand made, beads and elastic from Tiger
 Choker- Topshop
Necklace- hand made, elastic from Tiger
Hamza Hand- a stall in Turkey
 Rose Quartz Neclace- Claire's
Eevee Necklace- stall at ComicCon

2014.

Yes, I know it's not even christmas yet, but I wanted to write about 2014. This year has been the year that I have changed for the better and for the worst, but the difference is amazing. I can't believe who I was back then to I am now.
I have discovered so much new music, and I wish to discover more next year. It makes me so happy and I also wish to go to some more gigs next year. Let's just say I think my CD collection will be growing oops.
I have been on TWO holidays this year, and for some people that's not a lot but I hardly ever go on holiday so to go on two was amazing! In February I went to Italy on a skiing trip, which was an amazing once in a life time opportunity, even though I wasn't very good at it. Italy has become one of my favourite countries, mainly because of the pizza, but the mountains and scenery was spectacular and I almost wish I made the most of it.,:P
I also went to Turkey in the summer with my best friends and even though my sister and dad couldn't come with us, it was still an amazing holiday. We went paragliding and dived of a pirate ship and went to a foam party... It was perfection.
Also in the summer, I went to youtube event Summer in the City, where I met many youtubers I have been watching for years or it was a very different experience :) I hope to go next year!
I have made some amazing friends this year, and this is all thanks to You Me At Six. Long story short, they are the reason I have the friends I have now. I love them a lot.
