Band of the Week: Boston Manor

(i was meant to post this on Saturday I'm very sorry) So on Saturday, me and a few friends went to Kingston for the first date of the This Wild Life and As It Is tour with Seaway and Boston Manor.
Before the gig, I had never listened to them properly, I only knew their song Peach State, and the other bands I love a lot. They were the first to perform and in all honesty I was in love.
The band had great stage presence and the lead singer Dan's voice is really unique.
They are the perfect pop punk band and great if you're fans of : knuckle puck, real friend and seaway!
They have only released EPs so far, their latest Driftwood and the past Here/Now.

Top 3 Songs:
Peach State
Driftwood

Rock Sound 'Worship and Tributes' 200th Issue Album Review

Recently, Rock Sound released their 200th issue of their amazing magazine for June 2015! It has been a long journey, and along with the magazine was the FREE album 'Worship and Tributes' which displayed rocks most loved bands covering classic rock tracks.

The choice of bands were great and varied from the likes of pop punk kings Neck Deep, punk rockers You Me At Six and the heavier Architects.

My personal favourites on the album are As It Is's cover of the 'Only Exception' by Paramore, We are the Ocean's cover of 'The Pretender' by Foo Fighters and Enter Shikari's cover of 'Chop Suey!' originally by System of the Down.

Not to mention the great magazine that comes with it! It outlines the top 200 moments in rock music; album releases, band splits, festivals, concerts and events that defined rock history!
